Dr. Lee Pope
DVM, Medical Director
Dr. Pope was born in Dover, Delaware and grew up in Fayette County, Georgia. He attended Clayton College and State University and after 3 years got early acceptance in the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He has worked with animals in regular and emergency practices and he has owned LSAH since 2013. He has 2 dogs, Dante and Keeper, and 3 cats, Castiel, Trinity with 3 legs, and Theia a blind little tuxedo. He enjoys exploring the outdoors with his son, playing soccer, and riding his motorcycles.
Ashley
Practice Manager
Ashley was born in Gainesville, Georgia. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from UGA in 2009 and with her Master of Science degree in 2013. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2004 and has been with LSAH since 2015. She enjoys true-crime documentaries, cuddling with her five fur babies and is a macaroni and cheese enthusiast.
Jacquelyn
Client Care Specialist
Jacquelyn was raised in Snellville, GA and has been in veterinary medicine since 2015 and has been a part of the LSAH team since January of 2020. Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys putting her green thumb to work gardening and taking her cat, Dusty, to the park in a cat stroller. She is a self-proclaimed cat lady and dreams of having a cat sanctuary one day. You will often see her rocking her various colored crocks and displaying her artistic side through her nail art and decorative earrings.
Jasmine
Client Care Specialist
Jasmine is a Georgia native, raised in Atlanta. She has 3 fur children named Pepper, Lady, and Dodger. She has been in veterinary medicine since 2013 and when she isn’t at the clinic she likes to ride her motorcycle, go swimming, play the violin and sing.
Theresa
Client Care Specialist
Theresa was raised in Mebane, North Carolina and graduated in 2009 from NC State with a degree in Animal Science. She was in veterinary medicine from 2004 – 2008 and found her way back to veterinary medicine in 2021. When not at the clinic Theresa can be found in the kitchen baking, in the garden, or spending time with her 2 dogs Belle and Beau.
Britney
Veterinary Assistant
Britney was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the LSAH family in 2018 during a Georgia Work Based Learning Program and continued with us after she graduated. She is currently in school completing her pre-requisites to become a registered veterinary technician. Britney has two dogs, Annie and Diva, and a turtle name Squirt. In her free time, she enjoys cooking with her mother and helping her father remodel houses.
Alex
Veterinary Assistant
She was born in Georgia and has lived in Gwinnett county her whole life. She adores animals which led her to veterinary medicine in August of 2021. She has two dogs and two cats. In her free time she likes to hike in the mountains, garden, and spend time with her husband and fur babies.
